Environmental factors, electricity line, boundaries of the stream, preservation of existing buildings, access roads on only two fronts… which determine the formation of the proposed project… These factors lead to major approach decisions, the newly added buildings are placed on the south facade and the service line is built from this side. Besides, it ensures that public spaces such as green areas and around the water are away from the service line in the campus. These public spaces are supported by a collapsed courtyard, the most important element that connects buildings, located at +26.50 level. These main decisions, which were mentioned before, make the transition between closed, open, and semi-open spaces easy.
Furthermore, It has been created considering the users to utilize the environment effectively between the natural space and built space. Decisions at the scale of the building, the separation of spaces strengthens its relationship with the human scale.
The education campus proposal concept is built on the part – whole relationship. Traditionalism, interpretation of historical and architectural background create the contemporary proposal.
