Arya Office Building

2014

Developed on a narrow urban parcel, Arya Plaza was designed by rethinking the contemporary office-building typology. Within the dense fabric of the city, the project seeks a compact, functional, and enduring architectural expression.

Despite its façade width of less than eight meters, the building establishes a clear and spacious interior atmosphere through structural clarity and the controlled use of natural light. The reinforced-concrete frame system defines both the rhythm of the façade and the organization of the interior spaces.

The ground floor features an entrance hall shaped around public use, creating the transition to the independent office units on the upper levels. The rooftop level accommodates more private functions, including the executive office and meeting room.

In the façade composition, the perforated metal surface that breaks the concrete-frame order at the corner enhances the building’s permeability and provides solar control. This porous layer lends the structure a subtle depth that shifts with the changing hours of daylight.

By combining precast concrete elements, metal, and glass, the material palette aims for a neutral, timeless, and durable architectural character. Calm in appearance during the day and gaining a distinct identity through interior light in the evening, Arya Plaza stands out as a measured example of contemporary architecture within its urban setting.
